On 29 December 2017, the Government of Maldives received peer support for accreditation of a National Implementing Entity to the Adaptation Fund from the Department of Environment (DoE) of Antigua and Barbuda.
The support included the following components:
- Review existing documentation
- Support in addressing gaps in existing documentation
- Workshop in Male’ with MEE and consultation of accreditation
roles and responsibilities - Exchange mission (Study tour) from MEE to NIE
- Post-submission support for responding to Accreditation
