Senegal’s “Adaptation to Coastal Erosion in Vulnerable Areas” project, which encompasses the areas of Rufisque, Saly, and Joal, aims to protect people, houses, economic and cultural infrastructure in the region against coastal erosion. The project was implemented by Centre de Suivi Ecologique (CSE), the National Implementing Entity of Senegal.
The Adaptation Fund finances concrete climate adaptation and resilience projects in developing countries.
