Adapting to climate change in Panama by diversifying farming practices and supporting water harvesting systems
The project funded by the Adaptation Fund in Panama implemented by Fundación Natura has released two videos, where the project is helping the rural communities in Panama by diversifying sustainable farming practices and supporting water harvesting systems.
The first video shows how orchids and oranges project has generated leadership capacity for women in the communities in the province of Veraguas.
In the second video, water harvesting systems have been installed to producer partners to benefit the farmers in the long dry season and provide food security for their families. This project is implemented in the hydrographic basin of the Santa Maria river and the Chiriqui Viejo river.
