The Board  decided to  submit to the fifth Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol a proposal to amend the Rules of Procedure of the Adaptation Fund Board to allow the Chair and the Vice-Chair to continue in those offices until the first meeting of the year and to align the term of service of the members and alternates of the Adaptation Fund Board with the term of the Chair and the Vice-Chair. The text of the draft amendment to the Rules of Procedure, as adopted by the Board, is contained in Annex IV to the present report.
