Winners will be announced during the Adaptation Fund side event at the 18th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Doha, Qatar (Nov. 26-Dec. 7, 2012).

The Adaptation Fund was established under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol. Since becoming operational in 2010, the Fund has allocated more than $165 million in grants to climate change adaptation projects in 25 developing countries throughout the world.
